These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Haq HR website and progressive web application (the "Service"), operated by Amplified Mind ("Haq HR", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Nature of the Service
1.1 Haq HR provides general, educational information about United Arab Emirates employment law, covering the Federal (MOHRE) framework under Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021 and the DIFC framework under DIFC Law No. 2 of 2019, together with calculators, reference articles, and an AI-assisted question-and-answer feature ("Ask").
1.2 The Service is a reference and educational tool. It does not provide legal advice, does not create a lawyer-client or advisory relationship of any kind between you and Haq HR, its operator, contributors, or any underlying content source, and must not be relied upon as the sole basis for any legal, employment, or business decision.
1.3 For advice on your specific circumstances, you should consult a licensed lawyer qualified in the relevant jurisdiction (UAE Federal or DIFC, as applicable).
2. No Legal Advice; No Reliance
2.1 Content on the Service, including AI-generated answers, calculator outputs, library articles, and case-law summaries, is provided for general informational purposes only and is not exhaustive.
2.2 Case-law content, where referenced, reflects general practical patterns and principles only. Individual case citations are not surfaced to end users; outcomes in any specific matter depend on the particular facts involved and may differ from any general pattern described.
2.3 We do not warrant that any information on the Service is current, complete, or accurate as of the date you access it. UAE and DIFC employment law is subject to amendment, and content is reviewed on a periodic (not continuous) basis.
2.4 Any reliance you place on information from the Service is strictly at your own risk.
3. Eligibility
3.1 The Service is intended for use by individuals aged 18 or older, in the context of their employment or business activities in the UAE.
3.2 The Service is not directed at, and should not be used by, children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us using the details in Clause 14.
4. The Ask Feature (AI-Assisted Q&A)
4.1 The Ask feature uses an AI language model to generate answers grounded in a defined set of reference materials (the "Corpus"), including licensed and internally authored content, official government guidance materials, and case-law summaries.
4.2 The Ask feature is designed to decline to answer, or to state that information is unavailable, where a question falls outside the Corpus. Notwithstanding this design, AI-generated content may occasionally be incomplete, out of date, or inaccurate, and you should independently verify any information that is material to a decision you intend to make.
4.3 Use of the Ask feature is subject to reasonable rate limits to maintain Service availability for all users. Current limits are displayed within the Service and may change without prior notice.
4.4 You may save individual Ask answers for your own later reference ("Saved Answers"). Saved Answers are associated with your session only, as further described in our Privacy Policy, and may be deleted by you at any time within the Service.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation;

Attempt to circumvent rate limits, security measures, or access controls;

Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service at scale without our prior written consent;

Misrepresent content from the Service as constituting formal legal advice or a legal opinion to a third party;

Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying Corpus, prompts, or retrieval logic of the Ask feature for competitive purposes;

Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 The Service, including its design, calculators, software, and Haq HR-authored content, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
6.2 Certain library content is derived from copyrighted material licensed for use within the Service, including author-owned publications and officially issued government guidance materials, each attributed to its source where applicable.
6.3 You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your own personal or internal business purposes. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from Service content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
7. Disclaimers
7.1 THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
7.2 We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Amplified Mind shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
8.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable UAE law, including liability for fraud or wilful misconduct.
9. Indemnification
9.1 You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Amplified Mind and its officers, employees, and contributors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
10. Termination
10.1 We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, including for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service.
10.2 You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination (including Clauses 6, 7, 8, and 9) shall survive.
11. Changes to the Service and These Terms
11.1 We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
11.2 We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
